About Me
Kia ora,
I’m Toni Pakula, based in the beautiful Waikato, New Zealand, with my husband and three children. For over 10 years, I have supported children, adults, and families navigating selective mutism, and anxiety, helping them build calm, confidence, and resilience.
I combine lived experience with formal qualifications (BA in Psychology, Graduate Diploma in Teaching, Certified Health and Nutrition Coach) and ongoing postgraduate study.
My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, prioritising nervous system regulation and sustainable wellbeing.
I work with families to support children through Individual Education Plans (IEPs)and offer workshops and professional learning development for schools, helping educators restore balance and resilience in the classroom.
Through my coaching, clients learn to restore their wellbeing, rebalance their nervous system, and reach their goals, whether at home, in school, or in daily life.

The Safe and Sound Protocol
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a gentle, listening-based therapy designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional wellbeing, and a greater sense of safety and connection.
Using specially filtered music, SSP helps support the nervous system in moving out of stress and overwhelm, making it easier to feel calmer, more connected, and better able to engage in everyday life.
As a trauma-informed practitioner and Health & Nutrition Coach, I offer a holistic and supportive approach tailored to your individual needs.
